in real-time via the Company's advanced messaging and two-way wireless
products and services. Particularly helpful in large metropolitan
areas, the mobile service is a collaborative effort between Metrocall
and TrafficStation, Inc., North America's leading provider of personalized
traffic information via the Internet and wireless devices. TrafficStation's
services complement Metrocall's wireless capabilities as the personalized
alerts can be delivered anywhere, anytime of the day, giving commuters
the opportunity to avoid roadway incidents and congestion.
Basic TrafficStation service will be provided free
to customers who subscribe to My2Way, Metrocall's fast-growing nationwide
interactive wireless messaging services. Existing Metrocall My2Way
customers can sign-on to www.metrocall.com and go to the "Send a
Message" page to apply for the service. One-way advanced messaging
customers can sign-up and receive 30 days of the service for free.
The alerts will subsequently be subject to a nominal fee for one-way
subscribers. Via a TrafficStation user interface, customers will
use a simple registration process to define up to 20 personalized
routes with customized filter parameters such as time "windows"
for receiving alerts and severity of reported incidents.
