ALEXANDRIA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 19, 2001--Metrocall, Inc.
(Nasdaq:MCLLC), one of the nation's largest wireless data and messaging
companies, today announced that it has been awarded a contract to
provide wireless messaging services to the Temple University Health
System located in the heart of Philadelphia, PA. The Temple University
Health System is made up of physicians in every specialty and primary
care field.
Initially Metrocall will supply the Temple University
Health System with more than 1,400 wireless units, including a mix
of two-way, messaging and digital devices. Metrocall's robust coverage
in the City of Philadelphia is ideally suited for the communication
demands of the organization. The system is made up of a regional
complex of academic and community hospitals, medical school and
community based physicians, as well as nursing homes and home care
services.
