Metrocall Announces Agreement With MobilePlanet; Leading Mobile Computing and Wireless Reseller to Offer Metrocall's Two-Way Wireless Portfolio
 

ALEXANDRIA, Va. & CHATSWORTH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 20, 2001--Metrocall, Inc. (Nasdaq:MCLL), one of the nation's largest wireless data and messaging companies, and MobilePlanet, a leading multi-channel direct reseller of mobile computing and wireless products and services, today announced a retail partnership wherein Metrocall's line of wireless products and services will be offered through MobilePlanet's sales channels.

In particular, MobilePlanet will focus on selling Metrocall's two-way wireless products and services, including the Handspring Visor bundled with the @ctivelink module and My2Way, which utilizes the nationwide ReFLEX network, to offer unsurpassed two-way messaging coverage.
