Coverage Options
The Preferred Provider Organization (PPO),
offered through Principal Life Insurance, allows participants
the choice of receiving medical treatment from independent
physicians, as well as, discounted medical services through
a nationwide PPO managed care network, with more than 300,000
physicians.
Health coverage begins the first of the
month following 30 days of service.

Accidental
Death and Dismemberment Basic
term life coverage pays double indemnity for accidental death
and includes a schedule of dismemberment benefits
Dental Coverage
Participating employees and their dependents are eligible
for preventative, basic and major dental coverage. Adult and
pediatric orthodontia is included.
Vision Coverage
Enrolled employees receive coverage for eye examinations at
100% after a $15 co-pay. Lenses, frames and contacts are covered
at 100% after a $25 co-pay. Discounts for Lasix vision correction
surgery are available.
Prescription Drugs
Enrolled employees receive substantial savings at over 50,000
pharmacies nationwide or through mail order service for additional
savings, depending on your medical benefit plan provider
Group Life Insurance
Basic group term life insurance in the amount of $50,000 is
provided to all regular full and regular part-time employees.
Employees and their dependents may also elect supplemental
term life insurance coverage up to $500,000 for Employee and
$200,000 for spouse, discounted at group rates.
Short Term Disability
This benefit provides income security in case of an accident
or illness and pay 60% of your earnings (tax free) up to $1,000
per week, for up to 24 weeks of coverage, upon approval, if
elected.
Long Term Disability
Should your disability extend beyond 24 weeks, this benefit
pays 60% of your compensation up to $8000 per month. If you
become totally disabled, benefits may continue up to age 65.

Savings
& Retirement, 401(k) Plan
Employees defer a percentage of their gross income on a pre-tax
basis. Eligibility begins the first quarter after six months
of service. Participants receive an employer match of 50%
on the first 4% of their contributions to the plan. Company
contributions are 100% vested after six years of service.
Our vendor offers a wide variety of mutual funds including
Janus Advisor Growth, Fidelity Advisor Equity Income and Evergreen
Money Market, to name a few.

Employee Assistance Services
Employee Assistance Services are available through the company
for those difficult times when employees and their family
members can benefit from confidential counseling services.
They also provide child and elder care referrals as well as
additional useful services and information.
Education Assistance
Employees may receive 50% tuition reimbursement for job-related
undergraduate courses, provided a "C" or better grade is received
in an approved course from an accredited institution.
Flexible Spending
Accounts (FSA)
Employees can save on expenses and reduce their taxes by paying
for Health Care Expenses or Dependent Care Expenses through
our Flex Savings Accounts options.

Time-Off
Benefits
Vacation
Benefits accrue beginning on a two-week annual basis, capping
at five weeks after 14 years of service.
Sick Leave
Accrues on an annual basis up to 40 hrs per year and may be
accumulated. Employees not using any sick leave in a given
year receive one additional day of vacation as an attendance
bonus.

Bereavement
Receive up to three days with pay granted for a death of an
immediate family member.
Jury Duty
METROCALL pays the difference between jury fees and normal
base pay so an employee's regular earnings are not interrupted.

May be granted for personal emergencies, witness duty, military
service, maternity, family care, or prolonged illness.
